At Kelowna Kids Co, we offer quality child care programs at three locations - two in Pandosy Village Area and one in Lake Country. Now offering a toddler care program (18mos+-3 yrs) at our Richter Street location starting January 2025. We also have a new location coming April 2025 that will help us expand our programming to include after school care (Raymer Elementary School), play studio for families, baby and me classes, workshops, birthday parties and weekend programs. We are passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging and safe learning environment for your children that is deeply rooted in BC's Early Learning Framework. Our programs include a variety of themes and adventures, with a focus on play, child-led and nature-based learning. Benefits of a Multi-age Early Learning Environment
Multi-age Environment at Kelowna Kids Co.
Multi-age care is a natural child care setting with one Educator (ECE) to a maximum of 8 children with no more than 3 of those children under 36 months. It allows the children to become a "family of learners" who care and support each other. Older children have the ability to be mentors and take on leadership roles. The younger children are able to accomplish tasks that they may not have been able to do without the help of older children. This environment creates consistency, stability, and fosters the spirit of cooperation and caring.
